SAVE THE DATE — it’s Sunday. Greg Kelly and Judith Grey will tie the knot this weekend at the University Club in Midtown. Kelly and Grey were introduced through friends, and got engaged in June. The bride is a native of Melbourne, Australia, who works in advertising. The anchorman joined Fox’s “Good Day New York” in 2008 and left at the end of September. Prior to that, The Garden City, L.I., native, who is the son of former Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, was on “Fox & Friends Weekend.” This will be the first, and hopefully, last go ’round for them. And in case you’re wondering, they’re registered at Bloomingdale’s.
Kelly’s former Fox 5 co-host Rosanna Scotto announced during a Sept. 7 broadcast that her colleague, who was seated next to her at the time, would marry “this year.” Kelly said that no date had been set at that time.
“I met Judith on Tinder two weeks ago and said, ‘What the hell, let’s do this,” he joked on air. “I told her, if you didn’t marry her, I was,” Scotto said. “She is perfect.” Kelly was evasive when Scotto badgered him for details on how the engagement came about.
“I sent her an email, she was at work,” he joked, before adding “It’s a done deal.”
He also kidded that the pair had to work out their prenuptial specifics before they could discuss wedding plans.
Kelly and Scotto had Grey on as a guest on “Good Day New York” on his last day on air. The staff saw them off with a cake as Scotto fought back tears.
We’re told that Scotto will be at Sunday’s nuptials to see her former co-host off one more time.
