Firemen find a pot hot spot

Firefighters dousing a blaze in a Brooklyn home uncovered a drug den filled with a stash of marijuana and more than 800 vials of the date-rape drug liquid ketamine, authorities said Monday.

The discovery came Friday evening in the basement of a one-family home on 65th St., near Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst.

The Bravest found 170 pounds of marijuana and 821 vials of the anesthetic ketamine, a horse tranquilizer also known as special K, an illicit party drug.

Investigators also recovered 12-liter bottles of ketamine, two drug scales and other drug paraphernalia.

There were no immediate arrests and the FDNY said the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
