“Over and over again, stories are cropping up about professionals in our industry who were harassed in the workplace and were too afraid to speak up at the time,” she wrote. “Fortunately, over the last few weeks some incredibly courageous women — and men — have stepped forward and have spoken out.”
That missive included details on how Actors Equity members should proceed if they’ve had inappropriate experiences in auditions or elsewhere. Her email offers members “additional resources, whether that’s emotional support or simply a confidential conversation about a personal situation.”
