“Over and over again, stories are cropping up about profession­als in our industry who were harassed in the workplace and were too afraid to speak up at the time,” she wrote. “Fortunatel­y, over the last few weeks some incredibly courageous women — and men — have stepped forward and have spoken out.”

That missive included details on how Actors Equity members should proceed if they’ve had inappropri­ate experience­s in auditions or elsewhere. Her email offers members “additional resources, whether that’s emotional support or simply a confidenti­al conversati­on about a personal situation.”
