Agent raped me: actress’ lawsuit
AN ACTRESS is suing talent agency CAA and one of its agents, claiming the agent sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.
Demi Mann filed suit on Thursday against Cameron Mitchell — who represents celebrities such as Common, Gabrielle Union, Ludacris and Terence Howard — alleging he sexually harassed and assaulted her countless times over the course of a year-and-a-half and that CAA did nothing about it after she tried to report the incidents, according to documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.
CAA fired Mitchell, an agency spokesperson confirmed. A rep for Mitchell told the Daily News that he “emphatically denies” the allegations.
Mann, whose acting resumé includes several indie films, said Mitchell told her there was an “unwritten rule” that actresses were given parts by sleeping with their managers.
