Slay rap in pals’ drunken dispute

AN ELDERLY Brooklyn man was indicted Friday on charges he murdered a pal.

Eugene Scott, 71, was indicted in Brooklyn Supreme Court on second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon for the Oct. 20 slaying of 44-year-old Mora Lyons.

Scott had gotten into a drunken mid-afternoon argument with Lyons on the corner of Nostrand Ave. and Ave. D in Flatbush when Scott allegedly pulled out a gun and fired a single shot into Lyons’ chest.

Scott pleaded not guilty.
