KD, Warriors rally from 22 down to stun Sixers

A 22-point halftime deficit was no big deal for the defending NBA champions.

Stephen Curry scored 35 points, Kevin Durant had 27 and the visiting Golden State Warriors rallied for a 124-116 victory over the Philadelph­ia 76ers on Saturday night.

Joel Embiid scored 21 points and Ben Simmons had 23 points and 12 assist s for Philadelph­ia, which led 47-28 after one quarter and 74-52 at the half.

l Kyrie Irving scored 30 points, Jaylen Brown added a career-high 27 and the visiting Boston Celtics won their 15th straight game with a 110-99 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. At 15-2, Boston leads the NBA and matched the best start in franchise history through 17 games.

l Kemba Walker had 26 points, Dwight Howard added 16 points and 16 rebounds and the host Charlotte Hornets snapped a six-game losing streak with a 102-87 victory over the struggling Los Angeles Clippers.

The Belgian rallied in the semifinals to claim the biggest win of his career and stun the favorite 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Federer was on course to reach his 11th final at the elite season-ending tournament when he cruised through the first set, but Goffin took advantage of a drop in his play to force a third set.

Goffin’s opponent on Sunday in the final will be Grigor Dimitrov after the Bulgarian defeated Jack Sock 4-6, 6-0, 6-3.
