Parrish, prompted one guest at an event this weekend to ask Hart why he wasn’t in the recently announced “Lion King” movie.

“They came to me first and I turned it down. Any big movie that you think I shoulda did — assume I turned it down,” he joked at Saturday’s launch event for Barclays Uber Visa card in the Hollywood Hills. “It’s about my selfesteem and this way, I never feel bad...in my mind I turned it down.”

Hart (above at the party) then confessed he didn’t even know a “Lion King” movie was being made until he heard earlier this month that Beyoncé had signed on to do the flick. Now he wants to know why he wasn’t cast.

“Once I’m done with this party, someone’s getting a call,” he joked.
