A new way to watch
For most dedicated fans who can’t make it to the parade in person, the classic way to watch is on NBC. The festivities start at 9 a.m. and the live broadcast features all the best performances and moments from the parade.
If you want to watch from a tablet or a phone, or just add another angle on a second screen in your home for all the parade details you can possibly get without being there in person, Verizon, Macy’s and NBC Universal have teamed up to produce a live, 360-degree streaming view of the parade on YouTube. “We’ll have 360-degree cameras on the route, showcasing different talent and highlighting fun facts,” says Susan Tercero, Group Vice-President for Macy’s Parade & Entertainment Group. “You can see the parade in a whole new way.”
It will be a totally fresh view of the parade, and a way to watch even if you’re on the go on Thanksgiving morning. Or, parade super fans can create a multiscreen viewing experience and catch it all. Watch at www.youtube.com/verizon and on your local NBC station starting at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning.
