Flynn flip on Prez possible SPECULATION OF DEAL TALKS

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn has cut off all communication with the White House legal team, the strongest indication yet that he’s negotiating a deal with special prosecutor Robert Mueller, according to a report.

Four people told The New York Times on Thursday that Flynn had an agreement to keep Trump’s lawyers in the loop about Mueller’s investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 election.

But as of Thursday, that agreement had been terminated, those people said.

It’s not unusual for defense attorneys to share information during overlapping investigations. However, attorneys are required to stop passing information to each other when doing so could pose a conflict of interest or obstruct an investigation.

While the Thursday revelations do not prove that Flynn is negotiating a deal with Mueller’s investigators, it strongly suggests he’s at the very least in talks with them.

Lawyers for the 58-year-old Flynn and the White House declined to comment.

A deal with Flynn could provide Mueller (inset) with valuable insight into the Trump campaign and the early days of the Trump White House, which was hampered by the swirling Russia scandal.

Flynn, a retired four-star Army general, and Paul Manafort, Trump’s onetime campaign chairman, have been at the center of Mueller’s probe for months, according to reports.

Flynn is a strong proponent of the U.S. developing stronger bonds with Russia and had been cultivating his own ties to the Kremlin long before joining the Trump campaign as national security adviser. Flynn first gained the attention of U.S. intelligence agencies after he agreed to make a paid appearance on the pro-Kremlin TV network RT in 2015. After the appearance, Flynn attended a dinner in Moscow and was seated next to President Vladimir Putin. Trump fired Flynn on Feb. 13 after it was revealed he had lied to Vice President Pence about his communications with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

White House officials have been gearing up for charges against Flynn, especially in light of last month’s federal indictments of Manafort, Trump campaign aide Rick Gates, and his foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos.

Mueller’s team has also been looking into Flynn’s son, Michael Flynn Jr., who some speculate could also face charges.

Despite being fired, Flynn has been considered loyal to Trump. But, since news broke that his son could be a target in the probe, Flynn has started to waver, according to The Times.
