Little Mac has play-caller now

- BY PAT LEONARD

LANDOVER, Md. — Mini-McAdoo now has Mini-Sully by his side.

Giants fan Peter Costigan, 12, of Wayne, Pa., showed up at FedEx Field a second straight year dressed as mini-Ben McAdoo, his hair gelled this year compared to the McAdoo mop cut of 2016.

But this time Costigan had a partner in crime, his brother, Tommy, 11, standing to his left dressed in the likeness of Giants offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan.

It's an appropriate addition given that McAdoo handed off play-calling to Sullivan in Week 6.

Costigan earned a visit to the Giants’ facility in August with his famous cameo in Week 17 of last season and explained that he had to go with the new hair-do to match McAdoo’s.

“We saw that he had a new haircut, so I got the new haircut,” Costigan said with a smile.

Costigan hilariously gifted McAdoo with bulletin boards modeled loosely on the coach’s motivational sayings, including “We Gotta Get GREATER… At Gettin’... GREAT.” Costigan also used his visit to the Giants to promote a charity called Natural High that helps people decide to do what they love without doing drugs or alcohol.
