Grades OFFENSE

D+ The Jets had 391 total yards against a stingy Carolina defense. But they failed to score from the 1-yard line in the fourth quarter, and Josh McCown committed a costly turnover that changed the game.

DEFENSE

C- The Jets defense played outstanding football for most of three quarters, but they made debilitating errors down the stretch. Jordan Jenkins’ offside penalty on 4th-and-2 late in the third looms large.
