SALUTING ‘GOMER,’ JIM NAbORS:
THE LONG ARM of the law has caught up with a man suspected of a gang-related Queens killing two years ago, police said Thursday.
Miquel Valencia, 25, was arrested in the April 9, 2016, slaying of Miquel Angel Ramirez Tercero in Woodside.
Tercero, 31, and his friends were arguing with a group of men on 47th Ave. near 67th St. about 3 a.m. when Valencia pulled a gun and opened fire, police said.
Tercero was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest.
Detectives quickly identified Valencia as a suspect and put out a wanted poster. He managed to evade authorities until Tuesday, officials said.
He was ordered held without bail following a brief court appearance Wednesday.
