Cop cuffed in kid slap

AN OFF-DUTY NYPD officer found herself in handcuffs early Thursday after she slapped her 16-year-old daughter during an argument in Brooklyn, police said.

Officer Jere Upsher, 36, was charged with third degree assault — a misdemeano­r — after slapping her daughter during an argument over the use of electronic­s in their Canarsie home, cops said.

Upsher’s daughter was not seriously hurt, officials said. The transit cop’s arraignmen­t was pending Thursday.

The officer, who earned nearly $72,000 last year according to the website seethrough­ny.net, has been with the department for nine years, authoritie­s said.
