MLB teams are expected Friday to ratify the new posting agreement between MLB, MLBPA and Nippon Professional Baseball, which will enable 23-year-old, two-way star Shohei Otani of Japan to be posted and available to play in 2018. He would then have a three-week window during which he could pick a new club. The Yankees are a favorite to land Otani.
