‘Anti-Don’ FBI guy linked to Hil email case

- Minyvonne Burke

A FORMER FBI official, who was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s team over private messages appearing to mock President Trump, reportedly changed the language then-FBI Director James Comey used to describe Hillary Clinton’s email practices.

CNN reported that electronic records show Peter Strzok, a former top counterintelligence expert who led the investigation into Clinton’s email scandal, changed Comey’s earlier draft from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless.”

“Gross negligence” can be considered criminal activity when it comes to the mishandling of classified material, CNN reported. The changes were revealed after Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley requested the electronic “metadata,” which shows who created “the original drafts” and “who made the edits to the draft statement.”
