After starting their day at 3 a.m., Sherry and his team cooked grilled porterhouse steak soup with winter veggies for an 8:50 a.m. CBS news segment, even though that item won’t be on the restaurant’s menu until January. We’re told that viewers who saw the dish on TV came in and ordered it throughout the day anyway, and the kitchen was glad to oblige.
