If it’s your birthday

-

Most people want to leave the past behind, which is how they wind up living there permanently. For you, important matters related to your family history will surface this year, and you can make actual progress resolving them. Learn as much as possible going back three generations. Take the time, and be a sleuth. You will be amazed what you learn. You share a birthday with Little Richard, José Carreras and Margaret Cho. MARCH 21-APRIL 19 It’s never really possible to express one’s deepest spiritual truth or, for that matter, questions about existence. But you can be silent, and seek within, and feel these things. For the next 48 hours, it will productive to do that. Do something radical and bold: listen to your inner voice. APRIL 20-MAY 20 The question to ask yourself is, do you want closeness and intimacy, or do you want space and autonomy? What if the answer comes up as “both”? Whatever you may want, you’re the one who must make the arrangements to have it actually happen. You can do this if you put your mind to it. MAY 21-JUNE 20 You may be feeling frustrated that others seem out of reach, or are not responding in the way that you want. This is serving to throw you back onto yourself, and to address your circumstances. But don’t judge anyone harshly. There is more to the picture than meets the eye. JUNE 21-JULY 22 The Moon has finally returned to your sign, which should help settle down the intrigue and excitement of the past few days. You may be wondering what the fuss was. Well, it was about something, though that’s no longer an issue. Focus today on the one or two things that really matter. JULY 23-AUG. 22 Everything gets results of one kind or another. Sooner or later, those results come back to you. You’re now experiencing some of that. Some are positive and some are negative; what you learn this week will teach you plenty about how to make good decisions, thinking of the future. AUG. 23-SEPT. 22 When you discover how you really feel, sometimes you’re angry that you didn’t understand sooner. You can avoid that now, and engage fully with what you are aware of. While you have more to learn, you know enough to know what you need, what you feel, and what’s been missing. SEPT. 23-OCT. 22 A scenario that seems vastly complex will be easier to understand if you take it in the context of the distant past. It’s been handed down from generation to generation, and has shown up in its current form, in the present day. Dust it off gently with a brush, like an archaeologist might do. OCT. 23-NOV. 21 A question or concern related to your self-esteem is now ready for personal examination and maybe even a sincere conversation. Your whole experience of life is predicted by how you feel about yourself, which goes so deep you may not have considered it. But you can, one layer at a time. DEC. 22-JAN. 19 Have you considered the mystery of your ancestors? How many generations back can you name them? You might make a list of all eight of your greatgrandparents, and meditate on the fact that they all contribute to your present being and existence. They’re whispering messages to you. JAN. 20-FEB. 18 You would be wise to be less certain and more inquisitive, especially where a matter of business is concerned. Mercury is retrograde until Dec. 22, and many matters can go into a review phase until then. Chances are what seems like it cannot wait is the very thing that will benefit from a delay. FEB. 19-MARCH 20 Nobody can touch you, so don’t act like they can. You’re entitled not just to your opinion but also to your priorities, and your own definition of success. The Sun is shining brightly on you at the moment; make sure you smile with feeling, and show the world the love in your heart.
