Kelly joins gov’s anti-terror panel
ALBANY — Former city Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly is part of a new state counterterrorism advisory panel announced Tuesday by Gov. Cuomo.
The panel is charged with developing recommendations Cuomo can include in his State of the State address in January to make New York’s airports, bridges, tunnels and other high-profile assets safer against terrorism.
It is chaired by Kenneth Wainstein, a homeland security adviser to former President George W. Bush. Also on the panel is Lisa Monaco, a homeland security adviser to former President Barack Obama.
