LaVar uses Twitter to ‘dunk’ on Trump

-

LaVar Ball announced on Thursday morning that his two youngest sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, will be signing with their older brother Lonzo’s agent, Harrison Gaines.

“I don’t care about the money,” LaVar Ball said in an interview with ESPN. “I want them to go somewhere where they will play them together on the court at the same time. The priority is for the boys to play on the same team.”

LiAngelo Ball was yanked out of UCLA on Monday because his dad was upset over the disciplinary actions taken by the school after LiAngelo and two other teammates were arrested for shoplifting in China in October.

Ball felt that his son should have been given the chance to play despite his crime.

LaMelo was pulled from Chino Hills High School — the school all three Ball brothers attended — with plans of being homeschooled until he attended

If you think Donald Trump can’t let things go, meet LaVar Ball.

Ball posted an animated gif on social media Thursday showing the boss of the Big Baller Brand posterizing the president.

Trump called Ball an “ungrateful fool” for not thanking him after the president had helped get his son, LiAngelo, and two other UCLA basketball players released from China after the trio was nabbed for shoplifting last month.

“It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence — IT WAS ME,” Trump tweeted. “Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair.”

Trump got his thanks from LiAngelo and the other two players, but not from LaVar.

“Who?” LaVar Ball asked ESPN on Nov. 17 when asked about Trump. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”
