Runs a-fowl of law — again
THE CHICKEN was so good he had to go back for more.
A Bronx man was busted after he returned to a fried chicken joint he robbed over the summer, police said Saturday.
Workers at Texas Chicken and Burger on Brook Ave. in Mott Haven recognized Christopher Schlosser immediately when he walked in Thursday. “He thought we didn’t know him. I told my manager, ‘This guy punched me and took my chicken and my biscuits. I know him. Call the police,’” said employee Abdul Mustawu, 29.
Feathers flew on July 27 when the 21-year-old stormed into the eatery, hurdled the counter and jammed piece after piece of chicken into a bag, then snatched a tray of biscuits before leaving, cops said. Schlosser is charged with robbery. A day before his arrest, another poultrypilfering pair hit up the same restaurant, police said.
