Yonkers bank rob suspect shot dead

AN FBI agent and a Yonkers police officer shot a man to death on Friday night, authoritie­s said.

The law enforcemen­t duo was “conducting law enforcemen­t activity” when the shooting occurred, according to the FBI.

The gunfire erupted at Aqueduct Ave. and Delano Ave. near Van Cortlandt Park around 4 p.m., Yonkers Police said.

The man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died, the feds said in a tweet.

Yonkers Police tweeted that it wanted to “assure ... residents that there is no threat to public safety.”

All inquiries were referred to the FBI, which said no more informatio­n will be released.

A bureau spokesman declined to comment when reached by the Daily News. AN INNOCENT bystander was grazed by a bullet while walking on the Upper West Side Friday, police said.

The 30-year-old man told cops he was walking along W. 103rd St. near Manhattan Ave. when he heard a gunshot at 6:53 p.m. cops said. Moments later, he felt a pain in his left ear and realized he had been shot, according to police.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai-St. Luke’s Hospital.
