A MAKEUP ARTIST who worked for TV personality Carter Oosterhouse on his HGTV show “Carter Can” said she succumbed to his repeated requests for oral sex, fearing her job was at stake — and ended up being hospitalized for depression.

Kailey Kaminsky, who worked on the home improvement show in 2008, told The Hollywood Reporter she was shocked when Oosterhouse first joked about wanting her to perform a sex act, she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Kaminsky, who identifies as a lesbian, quickly shot him down — but she said he continued to pester her for months until he pulled off the road on the way to a project one day and asked, “Do you enjoy your job?” When she said she would like to work on his personal appearances outside the show, Oosterhouse allegedly said, “Well, I can help you with that. But you need to do something for me.”

Kaminsky, then 34, told THR, “At that point I was a nervous wreck. I was so worn down from his advances, so I did …Then thereafter it was most every time we would shoot — 10 to 15 times he put me in this position.”

The makeup artist, whose contract wasn’t renewed the following season, said she grew increasingly anxious until she was “basically non-functioning” and had to be hospitalized for depression.

In a statement to THR, Oosterhouse said his relationship with Kaminsky was “100% mutual and consensual,” claiming she was the one who initiated the sex.
