JONES FOR A FIRE
It’s been a tough year for the Great Jones Cafe, which saw a staff shakeup and temporary closure in July, and also lost its beloved vintage jukebox when a former manager left with his extensive record collection. There is now a faux fireplace in the corner where that music machine — which was once written up by Rolling Stone magazine — sat for three decades. Let’s see if regulars warm up to it. Multiple media outlets incorrectly reported during the summer that the eatery was out of business.
