FINGER LICKIN’ FALLON
Foodie delighted diners at Chef Le Coq Rico on Friday night when he walked up to the largest round table and asked fellow diners which chicken breed they were chowing down on.
The talk show host (above) was immediately recognized and happily took photos with adoring fans. The “Saturday Night Live” alum must love the Flatiron District chicken spot, which also goes by “the Bistro of Beautiful Birds” — it’s his third time there in a month.
Once he finished taking photos, Fallon and two pals ordered a veritable feast, including an offal platter and duck foie gras — even taking home leftovers.
Fallon insisted on ordering the Brune Landaise, a prized breed that was introduced to the U.S. a few years ago, for his friends to savor.
He has yet to comment on the scandal surrounding his pal and frequent show guest Mario Batali, who was fired from “The Chew” last week for allegedly groping women and making sexually explicit comments.
