President threw a private, off-the-record holiday celebration for reporters last week. One spy tells us that the shindig was from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on a weekday, while President would host that same party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. as a way for reporters to wrap up their day. “It was a lot less conducive to merrymaking than in the Obama years,” we’re told. We also hear the President popped in for about 10 minutes.
