He killed Harlem clerk, police say

COPS HAVE busted a Bronx man for the cold-blooded killing of an East Harlem bodega customer.

Anthony Pinkston, 45, was arraigned Friday on murder charges for allegedly shooting Mingo Mason, 49, at the La Paloma Candy Store and Grocery on Lexington Ave. near E. 106th St. on Dec. 14.

Pinkston walked into the store as Mason argued with two other men, fired the fatal shot and watching Mason fall the the floor before he took off, authoritie­s said.

Medics took Mason (photo) to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s, where he died.

Mason was “a good guy and a wonderful father,” said his wife, Nikki Morris, 42. “He cared about everybody.”

Pinkston was ordered held without bail at his arraignmen­t in Manhattan Criminal Court.
