Maroon 5’s manager is dead at 40

- Nicole Bitette

JORDAN FELDSTEIN, the manager of rock group Maroon 5 and the brother of actor Jonah Hill, died on Friday. He was 40.

The music manager ran the company Career Artist Management in Beverly Hills and represented Maroon 5, as well as Miguel, Elle King and Robin Thicke.

“Unfortunately, last night Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath, when paramedics arrived it was determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter,” the Feldstein family said in a statement to Variety. The family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name.

Feldstein (inset) was childhood friends with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and started managing the group when he was just 21.

“They were rightfully scared of having a 21-year-old just out of college as their manager but I kept setting things up, taking care of them, taking them to meals,” he told Billboard in 2015. “Eventually I convinced them.”
