Man shot in head, belly, butt, & lives

A GUNMAN shot and wounded a fellow patron inside a bar next to Coney Island’s Brooklyn Cyclones ballfield early Saturday, police said.

The shooter blasted Jaquin Royall, 36, in his head, stomach and buttocks inside Steeplechase Beer Garden on Surf Ave. near W. 16th St. in Coney Island around 1:50 a.m., according to authorities.

Medics rushed Royall to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn in stable condition.

First responders found a gun next to Royall, who is on parole for a previous gun-possession charge, sources said. Cops were investigating whether it was the shooter’s weapon.

There were no immediate arrests.

Steeplechase Beer Garden sits just outside the gates of MCU Park, the Brooklyn Cyclones’ ballfield where the fabled Steeplechase Amusement Park once stood.
