Drunken plunge to tracks fatal

A DRUNKEN straphange­r died after he tumbled onto the tracks at a Brooklyn train station, police said Thursday.

The man, who was in his 40s but was not publicly identified, was seen stumbling along the platform at the Prospect Ave. R train stop in Park Slope about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday before falling onto the tracks head first, cops said.

He suffered a head injury and was rushed to an area hospital, where he died about an hour later.

He was never struck by a train, cops said.
