Arrest in teen shooting slay
COPS NABBED the alleged killer of a Bronx teen who staggered two blocks before collapsing on the sidewalk, police said Thursday.
Agustin Guzman, 19, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for the Dec. 26 slaying of Gregory Pena, 18, on Sheridan Ave. near Marcy Place in Claremont.
Pena collapsed near Walton Ave. at Elliot Place after walking two blocks with a chest wound. Medics rushed the teen to BronxLebanon Hospital, where he died.
Police sources said the shooting may have stemmed from a fight Pena and his friends got into with another group of young men earlier in the evening.
Guzman was charged with murder, manslaughter and two counts of weapons possession, cops said.
