Cast Paul on Haggis

‘IT WAS TERRIFYING’ 3 more raps vs. movie big

-

THREE MORE women have accused Hollywood filmmaker Paul Haggis of sexual misconduct — weeks after a publicist came forward to say the director raped her in 2013.

One of the women whose story went public Friday said Haggis (photo) had also raped her in 1996, while she was working as a publicist on a TV show he was producing.

The accuser’s kept secret by the Associated Press, which first reported the new allegations.

She said that Haggis asked her to come into his office at work, then started kissing her.

“I just pulled away. He was just glaring at me and came at me again. I was really resisting. He said to me, ‘Do you really want to continue working?’” the woman, who was 28 at the time, told the AP.

“And then he really forced himself on me. I was just numb. I didn’t know what to do,” she said.

Haggis also forced her to perform oral sex on him before he raped her, she said.

The two other accusers who spoke to the AP said the “Crash” director made unwanted sexual advances but they managed to get away from him.

Haggis kissed one of them without consent while holding her arms down, she said. He also followed her into her cab and tried to follow her into her apartment when she got dropped off, the woman alleged.

The director continued to text the woman, who was in her 20s, until she blocked his number a day later, she claimed.

The other woman, who was in her 30s at the time, said Haggis identity was attempted to kiss her after inviting her to his office for a work-related discussion.

He followed her out of the building as she fled, she said.

“I felt like my life could have been over,” she told the AP of the alleged incident, which she said occurred in the late 2000s.

An attorney for Haggis denied the new allegations in a statement to the Daily News.

“Mr. Haggis denies these anonymous claims in whole,” attorney Christine Lepera said.

“In a society where one of a person’s fundamental rights is the ability to confront an accuser, that right has now been eviscerated when it comes to anyone being charged in the press with any sort of sexual misconduct. Notably, no one has reached out to anyone on Mr. Haggis’ team other than the press to report this,” Lepera said.

Haggis, who left the Church of Scientology in 2009, also questions whether his former house of worship has played a part in the allegations, according to the statement.

The latest accusations came three weeks after Haleigh Breest, a publicist based in New York, filed a lawsuit alleging that Haggis raped her in 2013.

In his own lawsuit filed just a few hours before his accuser’s suit, Haggis claimed that Breest tried to shake him down for a $9 million payout to keep her quiet.

The latest three accusers decided to share their accounts after learning of Breest’s allegations, according to the AP.

Haggis, 64, won the Oscar for Best Picture in 2005 for “Million Dollar Baby,” which he cowrote, and in 2006 for “Crash,” which he directed, produced and co-wrote.
