Milo’s lawyer asks to drop him

- Andrew Keshner

HIS BOOK publisher dropped him and now Milo Yiannopoulos’ own lawyer wants out too.

An attorney for the right-wing bomb thrower asked Friday to withdraw from Yiannopoulos’ breach-of-contract case against Simon & Schuster.

Yiannopoulos sued the publishing house for canceling his book, “Dangerous.” The company yanked the deal last year amid outrage over unearthed videos where Yiannopoulos condoned sexual relationships between men and teenage boys.

In his exit effort, lawyer Jeffrey Weingart said there’s been “a breakdown” in the attorney-client relationship.

Yiannopoulos wanted to fight the case one way, but the lawyer’s Manhattan Supreme Court filing said his firm deeply disagreed with the strategy.

Weingart said there are “irreconcilable differences” that made it impossible for the firm to effectively advocate for Yiannopoulos.

The tough legal client was also a rough writer to deal with.

Stories recently showed Yiannopoulos’ book editor allegedly marked up the manuscript with multiple edits.
