ROCKET GETS FUEL
Omany bombshells in book about the Trump White House is a claim that First Daughter and her husband discussed the idea of her becoming the first female President. Guests who chatted with Ivanka at Mar-a-lago over the holidays were not surprised to learn a conversation like the one written about in “Fire and Fury” reportedly took place. “She told friends ‘sometimes I sit around with Jared and we look at each other and say we’re all grown up, where has the time gone?’” according to a Trump family associate. Ivanka, 36, married Kushner, also 36, in 2009. Our insider insists that regardless of what people think of her dad, Ivanka is anything but abrasive in conversation. We’re also told that while Ivanka made clear to guests that she’s well aware of goings on in the White House. And according to the Wharton grad, operations at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. aren’t as chaotic as they may appear.
“Even In Washington, with its morass of bureaucracy, which makes it difficult to get legislation through, it’s surprising how quickly other things get done,” our insider heard her say. She didn’t offer specifics.
“She makes it clear she’s part of the West Wing,” we’re told.
Ivanka has been dogged by criticisms of complacency while her father’s administration moves forward with its right-wing agenda. She did tell Town & Country magazine in 2015 that she’d given no consideration to running for President, but that “doesn’t mean that when I’m 50 I won’t have a change of heart.” That would happen in time for the 2032 election.
One thing seems certain: Ivanka and her family are getting cozy in their Kalorama neighborhood in northwest D.C.
“We love it there and the kids love it,” she told our spy. “We live near the zoo,” she said. “It’s a big zoo. There are pandas. The kids love it.” Former Yankees pitcher won’t find out if he’s a Hall of Famer until Jan. 24, but he’s already toasting something. “Clemens and a table full of his buddies were seen celebrating,” says a fan who spotted The Rocket and his pals at and Haven Rooftop lounge atop the Sanctuary Hotel in Times Square. The group enjoyed “multiple bottles of champagne” and Clemens even got on the DJ’s microphone to thank fans who recognized him.
