Actor Kit Harington was caught on camera being booted from a Manhattan bar late Friday after belligerently arguing with other customers and causing a scene.
The video, shot by an eagleeyed “Game of Thrones” fan at Gramercy Park’s Barfly, shows the 31-year-old hovering over a pool table, grabbing cues and slurring as he tries to argue with a group of people presumably attempting to play a game.
The London-born thespian, who appears to have trouble finding his coat, was restrained by a bevy of fellow bar patrons several times before being escorted from the establishment, according to the video, first obtained by TMZ.com.
A witness told the gossip site the actor left the bar once after being asked, but later returned, and was eventually physically removed. In one scene, a young woman berates Harington for his alcohol-fueled antics. “Say excuse me,” she chides him after he grabs her arm. Winter was certainly coming Friday night as temperatures dropped well into the single digits, but Harington is seen standing outside the bar with no coat on as he continued to argue with a bouncer from the bar. Barfly had no comment on the incident when contacted by the Daily News, and Harington’s reps did not respond to a request for comment. Harington rose to fame as fan favorite Jon Snow on the wildly popular fantasy drama “Game of Thrones,” which HBO recently announced would return for an eighth and final season in 2019. He is reportedly one of the highest paid actors on television, making $500,000 an episode, according to a report by Variety last summer.
Harington’s fiancée, Rose Leslie, 30, who starred on the series as his on-screen love interest Ygritte, was nowhere to be seen in the hazy late night clip.
Harington is slated to be a presenter at Sunday’s Golden Globes alongside co-star Emilia Clarke, according to an Instagram post from the Hollywood Foreign Press.
The long-haired heartthrob also stars in the HBO miniseries “Gunpowder” about British activist Guy Fawkes’ plot to blow up the House of Lords.
