Eric Trump’s loco Mexican b’day party

-

ERIC TRUMP — son of the President who has vowed to wall off Mexicans and calls them “rapists” — celebrated his 34th birthday by wearing a sombrero to a party at a Mexican restaurant in Westchester County.

The birthday boy was joined Saturday at Guadalajara in Briarcliff Manor by his wife, Lara, big brother Donald Jr .anda posse of pals, including Lynne

Patton. Last June, Patton was appointed to head Region II of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, overseeing New York and New Jersey. She had no housing experience, but was an event planner for the Trump family, helping to organize Eric’s nuptials in 2014.

Eric wore a black sombrero while blowing out the candles on his Carvel Fudgie the Whale cake (inset) while many guests, including his wife, also wore sombreros and were entertained by a group of musicians warbling Mexican tunes.

Patton posted a video of Trump with his ice cream cake and wrote, “#HappyBirthday to one of the greatest people I know. We love you, Eric! Amazing night with even more amazing friends. I think Lara summed it up best when she said, ‘I love everyone at this table so much!’ ” She also included the hashtag #BestBossEver.

It’s an interesting choice of cuisine for Trump, considering the harsh words

Donald Trump has said about Mexico. He kicked off his presidential bid disparaging Mexican immigrants by proclaiming: “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” And on Cinco de Mayo in 2016 he posted a picture of himself tucking into a taco bowl, writing: “The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”

Eric and his party enjoyed nachos, guacamole and chicken fajitas along with sangrias and margaritas.

A restaurant worker says that the group had a “good time,” and Eric has been there about “four times in the last three months.” He also said none of the employees felt strange serving someone whose father wants to build a wall between Mexico and the U.S., explaining, “We have to take care of him as a regular customer.”

The Republican National Committee was widely mocked after it asked people on Twitter to sign a virtual birthday card for Eric last week.
