Hater ex-sheriff runs for Senate

SCANDAL-SCARRED former Sheriff Joe Arpaio is throwing his hat in the ring for Arizona’s open Senate seat.

“I am running for the U.S. Senate from the great state of Arizona for one unwavering reason: to support the agenda and policies of President Donald Trump in his mission to make America great again,” the 85-year-old ex-lawman tweeted Tuesday morning.

Trump pardoned his pal “Sheriff Joe” in August as he was awaiting sentencing for disregarding a federal court order that he stop racial profiling.

Democrats gave him a harsh welcome.

“It’s a disturbing sign of moral decay in the modern Republican Party,” Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez tweeted after the announcement.
