Eliot accuser att’y pushes ‘stab threat’
A LAWYER for disgraced former Gov. Eliot Spitzer said he’s going to cops with allegations that the Luv Gov threatened to knife a man in the privates at a posh Upper East Side eatery.
Joseph Murray, who represents Svetlana Travis Zakharova, the Russian ex-mistress who accused Spitzer of assaulting her at The Plaza, also represents Jamie Antolini, who was allegedly threatened by the pervy pol in a Jan. 2 spat.
“Enough is enough with this slug. It’s time to lock him up,” said Murray, a former NYPD officer. “The alleged Sheriff of Wall Street is no match for a real NYPD cop. He’s going down.”
Murray has also been trying to have Spitzer busted for a allegedly threatening Zakharova’s life in a February 2016 phone call. The lawyer recently gave cops an 18-second expletive-laced clip of what he said is Spitzer berating and hurling death threats at his former paramour.
A Spitzer spokeswoman, Lisa Linden, said the lawyer was making “absurd allegations.”
“Mr. Spitzer is a private citizen whom various people seek to harass for money or attention,” she said.
The Democrat resigned as governor following a prostitution scandal in 2008.
