Franco’s book hints at current sex scandal

JAMES FRANCO hinted at his creepy behavior with “young girls” in a 2013 book that confessed “lots of actors like to screw the extras. It’s pretty easy.”

The embattled actor facing accusations of sexual misconduct from five women has said that the novel, “Actors Anonymous,” was a work of fiction.

But lines from the book echo accounts from Franco’s accusers in a Los Angeles Times article, which described the “Disaster Artist” director using his status as an actor and mentor to take advantage of women.

The excerpts began circulating on Twitter Friday — as one of his accusers said she still has love for him.

“I had something going with most of my female costars and worked up a routine so that I could see someone every night,” Franco wrote in the novel. “One of my favorite approaches was to ask the young girls that request to take a photo with me to email me a copy of the photo; that way I can give them my info very quickly in front of a crowd of fans and later work out a way to see them.”

He also wrote about how love scenes could lead to real sexual encounters.

“When you’re portraying a romantic relationship onscreen, you can usually score with your acting partner after the first makeout scene,” Franco wrote. “This applies even if the person is in a relationship.”

One chapter was titled “Tell the Truth.”

“I had lots of sex. Lots. Most actors seem to do it, capitalize on their celebrity appeal,” he wrote.

He described reuniting with an “okay looking” student he met in Toronto.

“In the intervening months she had sent me plenty of photos of her body and especially her a-bent over in a G-string, so when she arrived at my Lower East Side apartment, I was ready and she was ready,” Franco writes.

“Not only did she allow me to do everything I wanted to her, she let me film it on my phone.”

Meanwhile, actress Sarah Tither-Kaplan — who charged that Franco exploited her and removed plastic guard s covering women’s genitals during an orgy scene — told TMZ he needed to accept responsibility for his behavior and apologize. “I don’t hate James. I still have love for him,” she told the site. A source told People magazine that Franco was despondent. “He’s in a really bad place, so bad that he changed his phone number,” the source said. “His close friends are trying to be there for him but it’s been hard — he’s only talking to a select group of people. For now, he’s just hiding out.” Franco’s attorney Michael Plonsker has denied the allegations of Franco’s accusers. “If I have done something wrong I will fix it — I have to,” Franco said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
