Where are my ‘Cosby pills?’

‘Hardball’ host’s creepy Hil quip

MSNBC HOST Chris Matthews joked about bringing a “Bill Cosby” pill to an interview in January 2016 with Hillary Clinton, network footage revealed Friday.

The “Hardball” host — who has a history of making questionable comments about Clinton — made the awkward wisecrack as he prepared to interview Clinton in an Iowa fire station during the Democratic primary season.

“Can I have some of the queen’s waters? Precious waters?” he said in footage published by The Cut. “Where’s that Bill Cosby pill I brought with me?”

Cosby has been accused of sexual misconduct by dozens of women. Some of his accusers allege that he drugged them with quaaludes — which he called “disco biscuits” — and sexually assaulted them.

Matthews (inset) seemed pleased with himself, smiling and laughing as those around him reacted uncomfortably. One woman looked up from a phone call and uttered, “Woah.”

Matthews apologized for his remarks in a statement to the website.

“This was a terrible comment I made in poor taste during the height of the Bill Cosby headlines.” he said. “I realize that’s no excuse. I deeply regret it and I’m sorry.”

Matthews (photo) previously attributed Clinton’s political success to her husband’s infidelity, and even called her “witchy.”

The Daily Caller reported in December that two former NBC producers charged Matthews ran a sexist news operation and would rate the appearances of his female guests.

“He would objectify them and interrupt them in a way that he would never do to his male guests. He had a very outdated view of women,” one former producer told the outlet.

MSNBC also confirmed last month it made a separation-related payment to an assistant producer on “Hardball” after she lodged a sexual harassment claim in 1999. “Hardball” was on CNBC at the time.
