NYPD janitor to walk on pot rap

- BY THOMAS TRACY Thomas Tracy

HE’S GOING to have trouble charming his way out of this one.

A drunken 6-foot-3, 230-pound Brooklyn man known on social media as the “The Charmer from California” was arrested after he was booted from a plane at LaGuardia Airport and began fighting off Port Authority police officers, authorities said Wednesday.

Delonte Hoskins, 37, was about to board a Southwest Airlines flight at Terminal B at about 7 p.m. Tuesday when a flight attendant stopped him from getting on the plane because he appeared too drunk.

Outraged, Hoskins, who is originally from Oakland, Calif., was anything but charming, cursing out the flight attendants and flipping off police as they walked over to calm him down, authorities said.

When cops tried to direct him away from the boarding area, he began fighting with the officers and refused to be handcuffed, according to Port Authority spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

Cops ultimately wrestled Hoskins to the ground, handcuffed him and charged him with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and trespass.

He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital to sober up and undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

This was the third arrest for Hoskins — who has tried to woo women online with pictures of himself in his white MercedesBenz — within two years.

In November, Hoskins pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted assault and harassment in Queens Criminal Court and was given an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, meaning if he kept clean for six months, the case would be sealed.

A month later, he paid a fine in Brooklyn Criminal Court after being arrested in 2016 for drunken driving and speeding.

The gossip website TheDirty.com derided Hoskins’ “Charmer from California” persona , calling him “fake a--” and labeling him a man “who prey(s) on women to get money.”

“He’ll mess your mind up, talk your drawers off and then get straight into your wallet,” the website said about Hoskins.

Hoskins’ arraignment pending Wednesday. was AN NYPD JANITOR who’s been busted three times in less than a year had her marijuana possession charges tossed, officials said Wednesday.

During a brief court appearance in Staten Island court Tuesday evening, Calissa Alston agreed to plead guilty to the possession charge in exchange for an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, meaning that if she keeps out of trouble for six months, the charges will be sealed.

The department custodial assistant was released right after the proceeding. A spokesman for the Staten Island district attorney’s office said the deal came over the objections of prosecutors.

Alston, 29, was one of eight people arrested on Monday when cops raided a home on Broad St. where marijuana and PCP were found. She admitted having the drugs in her bedroom to cops, according to court documents.

On May 11, Alston was busted for swiping a co-worker’s paycheck, police said. She faces charges of petty larceny, forgery and possession of stolen property.
