Kids in Fla. are real grown-ups

-

Everybody let the kids down. How? Here are half a dozen ways in which adults, law enforcement, gun groups and politicians have failed America’s children. 1. The FBI failed to act on a tip that future school rampage killer Nikolas Cruz (photo) was going to shoot up a school.

2. At least three – maybe more – Broward County sheriff’s deputies waited outside, along with school Resource Officer Scot Peterson, while kids were being slaughtered inside.

3. The sheriff’s office, which received 18 or so warning about Cruz’s weapons and his fury –which were reviewed by Peterson himself –failed to stop him, 4. Disgusting trolls took to the internet to claim that school survivors were really hired “crisis actors,” and other heinous conspiracy theories including one which was “liked” by pathetic Trump son Donald Jr. 5. The NRA spokeswoman told CPAC that “Crying white mothers are ratings gold.” 6. One survivor’s father apparently doctored an email to his son from CNN to make it sound like the producer was scripting his question. Since adults and politicians won’t keep kids safe, kids are the ones who have begun to take charge to bring adults and especially blood-money grubbing cowardly politicians and the NRA to their knees. And they are using the most deadly weapon a politician – or a mouthpiece – can face: the truth. It was the traumatized teen survivors who fearlessly faced down both Sen. Marco Rubio and NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch last week on CNNs “Stand Up: The Students of Stoneman Douglas Demand Action.” Rubio who, during the last election cycle took $10,000 from the NRA, was called out by student Cameron Kasky who demanded he stop taking their blood money.

His reaction? It’s not money, it’s the will of the people that influences elected officials. What?

“The influence of these groups comes from the millions of people that agree with the agenda, “he said shamelessly, “the millions of Americans that support the NRA.”

Interpretation: The millions who in turn give millions to the NRA who then give millions to politicians.

Worse even than Rubio was NRA spokesperson, Loesch who after being heckled when dodging a question put to her by student Emma Gonzalez, appeared two days later at CPAC where she whined, “You heard that town hall last night. They cheered the confiscation of firearms. And it was over 5,000 people. I had to have a security detail to get out,” she claimed. “I wouldn’t be able to exit that if I didn’t have a private security detail.” Too bad the dead children in Florida weren’t protected as well with their own private security details.

Then, when it couldn’t get more vile, it did. Loesch unbelievably claimed that the media loves a good tragedy because “Crying white mothers are ratings gold,” and that grieving mothers of color aren’t important to mainstream media. Apparently she’s never watched or read the mainstream media’s wall-to-wall coverage of police violence and murder against young black men or the NFL protests that followed.

Ann Coulter watch your back. The NRA’s Loesch is gunning for your place as the most hateful woman in America.
