New Visions Charter High Schools
New Visions Charter High Schools are innovative, 21st century learning environments that equip students for success in college, career, and life. Our schools are focused on preparing students for collegelevel coursework and empowering them with skills that enable them to be productive members in our communities.
Our charter network, which began in 2011, is comprised of 10 charter high schools: eight high schools serving students entering the 9th or 10th grade for the first time, and two transfer high schools serving over-age and under-credited students.
The goal at all New Visions Charter High Schools is to provide free, high-quality public education in the communities in which our schools are located, where students prepare for the rigors of college and careers while discovering themselves and working to reach their greatest academic potential. Through sports, clubs, volunteer opportunities and internships in the community, students pursue their passions and interests. They learn how to apply what they are learning in class to solve real world challenges. As a network, we work towards ensuring that each student has a college or career plan that aligns with their interests and goals.
Whether students are looking for accelerated learning options, have special needs, or speak English as a second language, we provide them with the support they need to learn. Admission is by lottery and we do not require exams, essays or interviews. Applying to charter schools DOES NOT affect applications to district high schools.
