$500G bail for hooker in S.I. shoot

- Thomas Tracy

A STATEN Island judge ordered a fugitive prostitute held on $500,000 bail Friday over accusations she shot a minister and her son on Christmas, officials said.

Nadia Williams, 30, is accused of opening fire on 42-year-old Monique Hall and her 19-year-old son in what investigators believe was a case of mistaken identity.

Hall, a minister at the First Central Baptist Church in Stapleton and her son Dayvon were driving past Highview Ave. and Fillmore St. in New Brighton on Christmas when gunshots shattered the back window of their SUV about 3:20 p.m.

One bullet hit Hall in the back, while gunfire grazed her son’s head and shoulder. The shots came from a black SUV that was tailing them.

After being nabbed in Florida, Williams was held on $500,000 bail and charged with attempted murder, assault and weapons possession.

Williams’ attorney Javier Solano said there were “meteoric, canyonsized holes in this story.”

Police haven’t clarified if they think Williams was the shooter, the driver or both, Solano said.

Williams has five prior arrests for prostitution, sources said.
