SEXT CASE TWIST – CONFIDENTIAL:

-

MIRANDA (VEE) VASQUEZ is no detective, but the aspiring model tells us that flirtatious texts between herself and real estate millionaire Mohamed Hadid, 69, were part of a failed onewoman sting operation to support her claim that he sexually assaulted her one year ago.

On Monday, The Daily Mail posted a weeklong text message exchange between the two in which the 23-year-old New Jersey native refers to Hadid as “love” and tells him he’s so “very sweet,” while trying to coordinate a rendezvous before his departure on a March 2017 trip.

According to the Mail, Hadid (photo) filed the text messages as part of a defamation case against Vasquez in which he alleges their encounter was consensual.

“I miss your soft lips & juicy...” reads one of those texts, which is accompanied by phallic emoticons of a purple eggplant and two round smiley faces.

Vasquez claims that conversation was all a badly planned setup that didn’t work out the way she’d intended.

“I thought if I could get (Hadid) to see me again I could get him to confess to what he did to me,” she told us by phone. The text exchange also included selfies of Vasquez wearing sexy lingerie. “I thought maybe I could record him.”

Vasquez told us she was inspired by fellow model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, who in 2015 recorded a conversation she had with Harvey Weinstein at a downtown hotel to help police investigate her claim that he’d sexually assaulted her days earlier in his TriBeca office.

Vasquez admits it was “stupid” of her not to have involved the police in her alleged attempt to take matters into her hands. On Feb. 13, Vasquez, accompanied by her attorney Lisa

Bloom, filed a police report accusing Hadid of sexually assaulting her and Guess co-founder Paul Marciano of sexually harassing her during a 2017 visit to Los Angeles. Hadid, the father of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, has denied Vasquez’s accusations and is suing her for slander and defamation in Los Angeles, where she made her claim.

Marciano, who was also recently accused of sexual misconduct by supermodel Kate Upton, is the subject of an internal investigation being conducted by the fashion brand he started with his three brothers in 1981. He too has denied claims of wrongdoing.
