ALBANY — Even as actress Cynthia Nixon weighs a run for his job, a leading women’s organization on Thursday backed Gov. Cuomo for reelection.

The New York chapter of the National Organization for Women endorsed Cuomo and his lieutenant governor, Kathy Hochul.

“This was an easy decision for our NOW chapter leaders across the state,” said organization President Sonia Ossorio. “Year in and year out, Gov. Cuomo has put women’s rights front and center.” She cited his successful efforts to end child marriage, and crack down on campus sexual assault.
