Azealia in court is all the rage
SHORT-FUSED rapper Azealia Banks failed to show proof she finished six hours of anger management over the past year — dooming her opportunity to get her assault case reduced to a violation on Thursday.
Banks (left) was busted in December 2015 on a third-degree assault charge for chomping on the breast of a security guard at Up&Down club on W. 14th St. after she got kicked out.
She brought paperwork that said she was two hours shy of the requirement of her Manhattan court plea deal, struck a year ago. That led prosecutors to object to her misdemeanor being dismissed in favor of a violation. Banks has to come back April 3 for prosecutors to sort out the discrepancy.
Her infamous temper flared as she left the courthouse — she insulted reporters and photographers following her to the street.
