Stark trouble for an Iron Man

- John Annese

THE AVENGERS may need to revise their membership rules.

A Times Square street performer dressed as Iron Man found himself in a different set of irons after trying to swipe $20 from a tourist Thursday, police sources said.

Khalid Lahmadi, 44, was posing with an 18-yearold man from Tennessee just after noon in Times Square when the tourist opened his wallet, sources said.

The teen reached for a $5 bill, but Lahmadi saw a $20 in the wallet, reached in and grabbed it, sources said. Not a great plan.

Cops arrested Lahmadi, charging him with grand larceny and criminal solicitation. The NYPD last year started cracking down on aggressive panhandling in Times Square by costumed characters.
