Held 29 hours and strip-searched

- Graham Rayman and Rocco Parascandola

CARL GOODLOE wakes up in a cold sweat from time to time, reliving his encounter with police — stopped on an East New York street, busted for something he says never happened, then allegedly subjected to a humiliating strip search at the 75th Precinct stationhouse.

Goodloe, now 33, has filed a stillpending civil rights lawsuit against six cops, including David Grieco, one of two cops involved in the strip search. The union roofer was on his way to see a friend on Oct. 11, 2014, when he pulled over on Milford St. to say hello to someone.

“Right away the cops pulled up and started conducting patdowns and searches,” he said. “Grieco had his gun drawn and said, ‘Don’t move.’” His Florida driver’s license, he said, apparently also raised suspicions. He was charged with drinking in public, something he said he was not doing.

Goodloe spent 29 hours in custody. His case was dismissed.
