St. Pat’s rites set for Tues.
FIREFIGHTER Michael Davidson is going on one more ride. Following viewings on Long Island, the city firefighter who perished in a Harlem blaze will be taken to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown for a full honors funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, officials announced. Firefighters are expected to pay their final respects to Davidson from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. both Sunday and Monday at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home on Atlantic Ave. in Floral Park, L.I. A funeral procession will then take Davidson’s casket to Midtown for the 10 a.m. service. Donations to Davidson’s family can be made through the FDNY Foundation’s Firefighter Michael Davidson’s Children’s Educational Fund at www.fdnyfoundation.org/ donate or by calling (718) 999-0779. Folks can also give through the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.tunnel2towers.org. Tunnel to Towers has already pledged $100,000 to help pay off the remainder of his family’s mortgage.
