Jacoby Ellsbury will start the season on the disabled list, as expected, Cashman confirmed.

Ellsbury will remain in Tampa as he works his way back. The 34-year-old veteran missed most of the spring due to an oblique injury, and will need 40-50 rehab at-bats as he plays his way into form.
